New England States Collaborative Insurance Exchange Systems
The New England States Collaborative Insurance Exchange Systems (NESCIES) project is funded by a cooperative agreement from the Center for Consumer Information and Insurance Oversight (CCIIO) and led by a combination of resources from Massachusetts’ Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS), the Commonwealth Health Insurance Connector Authority (Health Connector), and the University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS). In addition to working directly with Massachusetts to develop the IT system components under this initiative, UMMS is working in partnership with the New England States Consortium Systems Organization (NESCSO). Overall project priorities and shared development activities are informed by a New England Interstate Steering Committee convened and chaired by Brenda Harvey, NESCSO Executive Director, and made up of business and technical leads of the collaborating states.

NESCSO Regional Data Warehouse
The New England States Consortium Systems Organization (NESCSO) is developing a regional data warehouse to provide New England states the ability to conduct timely comparative analyses for the effective and efficient administration of the states’ Medicaid State Plans and to support the regional initiatives of the NESCSO members.
